A journey into the heart of the Irish Traveller community, to record the lost songs of the road and find the last of the fireside singers.

James McDonald is a modern day song collector and has spent years seeking out the oldest surviving Travellers to find the ‘old’ songs before they disappear. This film will chart his return to Ireland to hunt down the last of the old singers, in a journey, which will take him deeper than he has been before into the Traveller community. James knows time is running out before the last of the singers fade into memory taking with them their songs.
